Hi, I’m Koral Hull

a lifestyle and wedding photographer based in Ankeny, Iowa, serving Des Moines and all of Central Iowa.

I’m also a wife, a mom of two incredible kids, and someone who finds joy in bringing out the best in people, especially through the lens.

I’ve always loved photos, but what I really love is how photography makes people feel. I want every session to feel easy, joyful, and full of little moments that surprise you with how special they are. The laughter that bubbles up when your toddler runs wild. The quiet glance between you and your partner that says everything. The way your shoulders drop a little when you realize you’ve got this and you actually look amazing.

That’s what I live for. Not stiff poses or perfect lighting (though don’t worry, I’ve got you covered there too), but real connection. I’ll gently guide you when you need it and give space when you don’t. My goal is to capture you as you are, at your best, your most relaxed, and maybe even having a little more fun than you expected.

Whether we’re documenting your wedding day, capturing this season of life with your family, or elevating your brand with personality-driven photos, I show up with the same approach: calm presence, upbeat energy, and the intention to help you feel confident from the first click.

I work side by side with my husband Mark, my second shooter, tech guy, and best friend.

I believe the best images come when you forget the camera’s even there.

My sessions are equal parts intentional and playful. Yes, you’ll get “the shot,” but we’ll also have fun getting there.

I live for good coffee, slow mornings with my kids, and deep conversations about big ideas.
